The Practice
Kindness, slowly.
A few minutes each morning. A small thing done on purpose. Kind to yourself, kind to someone nearby, kind to the living world — in that order, in any order, across thirty mornings, until the shape of it begins to hold. Nothing to track, nothing to measure, no streak to keep.
The half-day on the experiences page is the practice in a few hours outside — a single, unhurried conversation with it. The page that names the stance underneath all of it is why kindness.
For a slower companion — words collected between the days rather than at the start of them — see the journal.
